Mechanical Engineering Projects

Here's what I've been working on regards to Mechanical Engineering, my major at Purdue University. See something you want to know more about, reach out to Bremer!

Hypersonics Research - PSP Hypersonics

I have had the opportunity to be a part of the inaugural group of students associated with the Purdue Space Program to study and determine feasibility of Hypersonics. This project is ongoing, with more to come and share soon. For more details on how I have the opportunity to be a part of this bleeding edge research group, please see my Aerospace Engineering Projects page for a background on my work in rocketry.

Cardboard Canoe

Developed as a part of my high school's senior Engineering class, in association with the University of Arizona, I helped to design and build a canoe made entirely out of cardboard, 8 rolls of duct tape, and 2 trash bags. We verified the design using FEA to prove that it would be stable and buoyant. Our boat not only worked, our team won the relay race across the pool which involved us getting in and out of the boat multiple times.

Awards Design

Designed multiple awards for my high school for Speech and Debate, Board of Directors, and Sports Teams. Used a multitude of manufacturing techniques, including water jetting, woodworking, and laser etching/cutting. See more about my manufacturing experience on my Manufacturing Engineering projects page.
